Updates Canadian Visa Fees in 2022
In recent years, Canada hosted nearly 622,000 international students. Canada always welcomes newcomers to the country and the number of international students and immigrants is increasing significantly. When applying for the visa, there are a few things that you need to be aware of, including the Canadian visa fees. After uploading all needed documents for your visa application, you will be asked to pay the fees.
1. Canadian Visa application fees in 2022
All the fees listed below are in Canadian dollars (CAD$). Additionally, if your status in Canada has expired within 90 days, you will also have to apply for the restoration and pay the restoration fee of $200
- Study Permit (including extensions): $150
- Work Permit (including extensions): $155
- Work Permit – maximum fee for groups of performing artist and their staff: $100
- Work permit – single entry or multiple entries (including extensions): $100
- Visitor visa – Maximum fee for family: $500
- Visitor record (including extensions): $75

3. Get Canadian Work Experience through Study Pathway
Changing a Visitor Visa to a Work Permit inside Canada is possible and you don’t have to leave the country to do so. This means that you can come to Canada as a visitor/a tourist and can legally stay and work in Canada by changing your visa status from Visitor visa to Work visa inside Canada. There are two main ways to change your tourist visa to a work permit:

- Get Work Permit as a Visitor through a Study Pathway in Canada
