Change visitor visa to work permit in Canada 2022
1.Extend stay in Canada through Maintained status
If a visitor, student, or foreign worker applies to extend their stay in Canada before that status expires, he or she can legally remain in Canada until a decision is made on the application. In this situation, the person has maintained status. This means you can stay in Canada with the same conditions as your previous permit until IRCC makes a decision about your application.
