Fully vaccinated when entering Canada should also note that only a few types of vaccines are accepted by the Government. This new border update by Canada was introduced as a result of high vaccination rates, low hospitalization rates and better infrastructure for Covid treatments. These new measures are applicable to all travelers arriving by air, land, or water. Random testing of the Covid-19 test will still be there but those selected for testing don’t need to be quarantined while awaiting the results.

All travellers who are 5 years of age or older who are not qualified as fully vaccinated have to provide these documents before arrival: Valid negative antigen test, the result should be no more than 1 day before the initially scheduled flight departure time or arrival.Valid negative molecular test taken no more than 72 hours before the initially scheduled flight departure time or arrival.Valid previous positive molecular test taken at least 10 calendar days and no more than 180 calendar days before the initially scheduled flight departure time or arrival.
